Finally things are starting to break loose all throughout Fishspot Land! And tomorrow, June 1st, several new rivers and zones will open up for the season. If this isn’t enough to get you excited we have also been receiving reports of mayflies and caddis throughout the Fishspot area. Finally, the wait is over!

Some of the areas opening up for the season include the Kvennan Fly Fishing Zone on the Glomma, the fabled Vangrøfta, and the ever so intriguing Holselva. Not to mention the rivers Unsetåa, Grimsa, Nordre Mistra, Hola and Nordre Renaelva. In addition to this lake Vestsjøen in Trysil is making it’s debut as an exclusive Fishspot offer for pike fishing.

Due to the late onset of spring the water levels have finally dropped enough for the water to begin clearing up. In several areas the season has already started, and the results have been great. Rena River has been fishing very well, and still water fishing with mosquitoes has been excellent. You can check out for yourself in the video above by Kjell Rakkenes.
