At Aashaugen you can stay in the farms Stabbur, the traditional meat drying building, which are common on many of the farms throughout Norway. The Stabbur is renovated and made into a more modern cabin, located on the farm grounds in Vingelsåsen.

The cabin is a nice place to stay, with 2 bedrooms and 4 beds on the first floor, living room with a kitchen corner on the second floor, and a separate bathroom with a sauna (built in 2006). Sheets can be ordered prior to your stay, or you may bring your own bed sheets.

Aashaugen is located in Vingelen and near good fishing in the Glomma and the Kvennan Fly Fishing Zone. Your host also offers guiding for both fishing and hunting throughout the area.

Dogs are allowed.

Follow RV 20 through Tynset and Røros. Exit at Vingelsåsen roughly 6 km south of Tolga town center. Aashaugen is 1 km north of the exit to RV 30.
