In the beautiful mountain valley of Spekedalen you will find a house and a boat for rent right in the middle of plentiful fishing opportunities in lakes Spekesjøene and and Speketjøenna, and the river Speka. Use the planer board with grandpa on the bank, cast your lures with the children, or hunt for the big fish with dry flies on the river. You may even decide to bring a group of friends to do some ice fishing in the winter, or a mountain hike in the summer on the majestic Mount Elgpiggen.

Stay at Spekedalssetra

Spekedalssetra is a Summerhouse from the 1700’s, which has been unchanged over the years. It is now being carefully restored to its original condition and will be completed in 2017.

Veslebua, which is right next to Spekedalsetra, is an ideal little stone cabin where you can warm up next to the fireplace, light up the paraffin lamp, retrieve your own water from the creek, and experience the charm of the outhouse. This has two smaller rooms, including a fully equipped kitchen, refrigerator and propane stove, and four beds. There is no bedding here so you will need to bring your sleeping bag.

Stay on the banks of Southern Spekesjøen

The stone cabin was restored and moved here in 1997 with a beautiful view of the lake. It consists of two large rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, propane stove, and 4 beds. You won’t find bedding here either, so you will need to bring your sleeping bag.
