SakTya was closed for fishing on the 8th of May this year, due to several years of excessive harvesting of fish. There has now been a Fly Fishing Zone established on the section of river upstream of the fish factory at Løvøya upstream to Esfossen. There will be 4 licenses available on a daily basis from now until the river closes for the season on the 15th of September.Read more
