The search for that perfect fishing trip in Norway can be tricky, but now with our new web pages this search have been made a lot easier. If you know roughly what type and style of fishing you would like to do, or even just where about in the area you are planning to go – the new Fishspot web pages will find, not just your fishing destination, but also where to spend the night and shop for you self-carting needs.

As you can put up a tent just about anywhere, and go fishing where ever you like provided you buy a ticket – some trips need no planning. Popular lodges and cabins, and som of the rivers, on the other hand, will get booked up and you need to book in advance. Like now.

This is how you navigate on our site

Fishing
Either you want to go pike fishing from a boat or fly fishing off the banks of a river, you will find all your options by going on the the “fishing” menu on the top right corner. Here you can choose between pike and predator fishing, fly fishing, fishing for everyone, exclusive fishing, outback fishing and trolling.  (fishing for children is coming soon)

After making a choice like predator fishing, you will be presented for all the options within that category. After choosing a place to fish, all near by accommodation and other services will be presented to you.

Map
If you know where you are going or maybe you are all ready there, the map service will help you locate near by fishing options, and near by accommodation and other services. On the map you will find a series of icons – press one and the profile with information will appear.

Locations
This way of navigating the site and its offers is more easy for Norwegians as its sorted by municipality and county. However if you know the area this might work for you as well. If you have found a place you want to fish, you will always find near by accommodation further down the site – this works the other way around too.
