Formoseter farmhouse is situated at Høvringen, at 935 meters over sea level, at the entrance to Rondane National Park. The secluded farm has views towards Rondane and Jetta. Since we began renting out the houses more than 10 years ago, we have had many satisfied guests, many of whom return year after year.

Formoseter farm has a long history, being used for traditional farming up until about 1930. Since then the farm has been used for grazing animals and harvesting animal feed. Presently there are four restored farmhouses from the 1800s. The buildings are fully-equipped for self catering and can accommodate 2 to 18 guests. There’s space in total for about 40 guests.

Formostugu and Steinbue offer service for groups and a pleasant “countryside setting” for various events. Cecilie and Anders Formo would like to welcome you to the mountains and Formoseter summer farm!
