The weather in Norway has been incredible lately, and many an angler has been out to try their luck. Many areas are reporting excellent conditions and great catches both in still and running water. For those interested in insects, the main bugs on the menu are flying ants and mayflies. In some of the lakes things have broken loose and the trout are feeding consistently.

On Lake Langsjøen the season has also been off too an excellent start. This beast of a trout weighed in at 4.1 kg. On the banks of Langsjøen you will find the Johnsgård turistsenter,  offering activities for the entire family. We recommend checking out the presentation film for Johngård Turistsenter.
