In Skjåk you will learn what fishing for mountain trout is really all about. The majestic mountains in Reinheimen and Breheimen National Parks offer uncountable opportunities for backpacking trips combined with fishing. Here you will find around 200 lakes, and 250 kilometers of fishable rivers, and the objective of finding large mystical mountain trout. Where else in Norway can you fish for trout up to 1650 meters over sea level surrounded by breathtaking mountains, wild valleys, and this type of scenery? 

We strongly recommend taking the journey to Skjåk in the summer to experience an adventure you will never forget with a tent and fishing rod. Just be warned, this type of experience can be highly addictive!
