The fly fishing buddies “Trutta Gutta” are on their annual Fishspot round trip, along with their French guest Francois Dufour.  Mr. Francois drove the whole way from Paris to Trysil with one goal in mind:  The Danica Hatching on the Trysil river  – It had caught  his attention and the river delivered. When the “Truttagutta” met up with Francois in the Rena river  later, they met a happy Freshman.  On the Rena river they had two magical days of dry fly action with several good fish – white fish, grayling and trout.

After having spent a few days on the Rena river, the group went north on to Engeråa in Engerdal.  – The fishing in Engeråa was tough due to heavy wind, but in the after noon we had the chance to fish on rising fish, one of the members comments. From there the trip  went on to the Hola river, also here the Danica (big river Mayfly) was hatching. As a result of this, a good number of trout and grayling took their fly .With the guys on the way to the Grimsa river, Fishspot awaits new reports on their adventure.
