It is mid august, meaning there is almost one month of the season left on Mistra, Nordre Rena, Unetåa, and the other rivers in Rendalen. Here is a report from Rendalens own super angler, Inge Rønning.

To sum things up this season has been dry. In august the rain finally came, and with the rain the fish finally arrived in Mistra. There have been many fish caught between 1-2 kilo, but there have been larger fish caught as well with the largest being 5.1 kg. We’ve primarily been fishing with 7-10 cm wobblers, but there are also fish being caught on worms and streamers.

To sum things up this season has been dry. In august the rain finally came, and with the rain the fish finally arrived in Mistra.

The fishing gets better and better in as the temperatures fall, so there is no reason to quit fishing in after Mistra closes. Quite the contrary!
