Staying at the Langodden Farm makes the perfect starting point for experiencing the excellent trout and grayling fishing on the Glomma River in Alvdal and Rendalen.

The Langodden Farm offers accomodations with both cabins and camping places in a real farm environment rich in Østerdal tradition, and close to forests and mountains that offer endless possibilities for exploration. The rental cabins and the camping area are both closely connected to the farm, which is typical of this area. The farm works with both dairy production and timber.

Here you can stay in cozy cabins, which include beds and a kitchen. Most of the cabins here are restored traditional log cabins, which have been used previously by the farm. Bedsheets and towels are available for rent and you can either clean the cabin yourself or pay to have it cleaned when you leave.

The camping area has room for 6 RVs, with hookups for electricity. Guests of the camp may use the sanitation building along with the cabin guests, which includes a shower, toilets, etc. There is a large yard with plenty of room for games and activities.

In the Stabbur (traditional meat drying building) you will find the farm museum, with over 500 items on display. The Langodden Farm is recognized as a Norwegian Cultural Heritage Site, and has the award of Olavsrosa, which is only shared with top quality cultural heritage sites.

Here you may purchase the fishing license for the sections of the Glomma River in Rendalen and Alvdal.
