Kvipt Gjestegard

Kvipt Gjestegard lies in the mountain town of Birtedalen, on the border between Fyresdal and Setesdal, at 600 meters over sea level. The farm is surrounded by uniquely beautiful nature, and is an Eldorado for fishing, hunting, and other outdoor activities.

Kvipt is a meeting place for both locals and tourists, with tradition and culture dating all the way back to the middle ages. The location is open for bookings, events, hunting, and cabin rentals year round. During the weekends of the summer vacation we serve cured meats and cream porridge, coffee, desert pancakes, ice cream and soda.
