«Truttagutta» also known as the trout boys, continue their journey throughout fishspot. It seems as though they have been enjoying themselves! Here is a little report from their fishing adventures the past week.

 

The wind has created some problems, but the fishing has been really good! We have checked out some of the well known spots including Galtstrømmen, Femundselva and Hola. Each spot has offered excellent dry fly fishing, solid hatches, and a lot of fun between the wind gusts.

 

 

But eventually we got sick of the wind, so we dug out the map and decided to explore some of the smaller rivers and streams throughout fishspot land.

 

 

 

We managed to find several nice grayling, and many nice trout, some of them falling under the category of very, very nice! This was an exciting experience for us, an we challenge other anglers to go explore lesser fished water. Especially the nameless streams that are so often overlooked.

 

 

 

 

Here is a little sugar cube to suck on: The danica hatches have just begun on several of the rivers we explored last week. This next week is going to be magical!
