It is a well documented fact that the Rena river in Åmot municipality has world class trout and grayling fishing. But the river has a number of other qualities that enhances the experience, and spawns inspiration and considerations for the next trip in the planning. What can i change the next time I’m here? How do I catch that big one?

How people experience their fishing is as numerous as there are fishermen. What creates your assosiasjons is not easily revealed. Maybe you only target big fish, or you are there more for the scenery and the current mood of nature, the sunset, or maybe the your are enjoying the life sycle of the insects.
