The cabin Ufsbu is located on lake Ufstjønn, at the top of Langefoss in Birtedalen. To get here you’ll need to hike along lake Brutjønn for roughly 45 minutes, or use a boat to cross the lake. Here you can check out from reality and just fish.


Ufsbu is a hidden gem in a fantastic area for hiking trips. The cabin is surrounded by lakes and is an eldorado for those interested in fishing, hunting, and other outdoor activities. There is a canoe, a boat, and life jackets at the cabin. Here you will find many lakes within walking distance, and fish around 500 grams are common.


The cabin consists of one room with a kitchenette, kitchen table, and a sofa corner. In the same room there are beds for three. In the second room there are also beds for three more. Between these two rooms is a hallway with along with a separate hall with a dry toilet.


To get to the cabin you’ll need to hike along the west bank of lake Brutjønn for roughly 2 km. It is also possible to rent a boat, this must be arranged in advance prior to arrival.
