“Dalsbygda Jakt- og fiskecamp” (hunting and fishing camp) rents out two “Container Cabins” right next to the renowned trout stream Vangrøfta. The cabins are mobile, and are placed strategically along one of the best fishing zones in the river. From here you will have full oversight over what is going on in the river and can watch for rising fish.

The cabins are a cozy accommodation with gorgeous surroundings, and right next to some of the best fishing in Vangrøfta. The cabins are small, but cozy at 2,5 x 7 meters.  Placed right next to each other they are perfect for a group of friends, or can also be booked individually.

One of the cabins has beds for 3 and a small kitchen corner with a gas oven and stove.

The other has beds for two with a small but well equipped kitchen without a stove.

Both cabins are equipped with a small kitchen table, and for heating you will find a Lavvo style gas heater. The cabins do not have running water or electricity, but a generator may be used for electricity. For lighting there are LED lights installed that are run by a battery. The cabins have an outhouse for when nature calls. Wood for heating can be found at the cabins. Water is stored in a large tank during the summer months. Along the riverbank you will find a portable “gapahuk” (Norwegian style open shelter) and a fireplace during the summer season, where you can enjoy the warm summer evenings while waiting for fish to rise.

There is also the possibility to rent a wood fired hot tub, and for an additional fee we will make the beds for you upon arrival. This must be arranged directly when booking the cabin.
