Welcome to Koppang Camping, a cosy family campsite and features a spacious area with sites for tents, caravans and campers. In addition, there are 20 cabins in various sizes and standards, located at river Glomma, legendary to fishermen!

Koppang Camping is situated in the vast expanse of Hedmark, Norway’s largest province in the South-East of the country. You will find the campground on Road 30, a side road of State Highway 3 that runs from Hamar via Elverum and Rena to the North of Norway. Road 30 runs North via the centre of Koppang to Tynset and Røros and literally bridges Norway’s longest river, the Glomma.

The camping is located directly on the Glomma, which offers various recreational possibilities. Canoeing, fishing and swimming are among the favorites. We also offer guiding services

We have three types of cabin:

Cabin type A
This cabin is suitable for 2-3 persons. It has one bunk bed, a folding bed, a table with chairs, a double cook top, fridge and blankets and pillows. Outside the cabin you will find a large picknick table and parking space for your car. We provide a plastic box with pans, plates, cups and cutlery which you can borrow. NOK 400 per night.

Cabin type B
This cabin is larger then a type A cabin and is suitable for 4 persons. This cabin has two bunks, a table with chairs, a double cook top, fridge and blankets and pillows. This cabin has a large verande with picknick table. There is parking space for 2 cars. We provide a plastic box with pans, plates, cups and cutlery which you can borrow. NOK 450 per night.

Cabin type C
The cabins each have a separate bedroom which sleeps four. The living room offers a possibility to sleep an additional two. Furthermore, each cabin has its own washroom, sink and shower with hot water. The kitchen consists of a sink, cook top and fridge. All cabins are provided with pots and pans, plates, glasses, cutlery and blankets & pillows. 6 Of the cabins also have TV. Each cabin site offers plenty of parking space. NOK 750 per night.
