Welcome to Gjelten Bru Camping, idyllically situated near the banks of river Folla. The sheltered camping site in Alvdal municipality offers a calm and atmospheric stay, for you and your family.

The family camping site have 13 cabins, and well facilitated camping options. They have both small and simple cabins, limited for summer use, and big vinter insulated cabins. The camping site have 45 sites with electricity connection spread through out the camping site.

Our facilities will accommodate out guests for a pleasant stay, with sanitary facilities, kiosk, a TV room and a big play ground for the children.

The the grocery store a short 250 meters from the site, your needs for self catering will be met. The area have many options for excursions and activities both in nature and fishing as well as other activities in Alvdal.

Directions

From the south:  From Oslo, drive north towards Østerdalen. Drive 4,5 km nord-vest of Alvdal sentrum.  Take of the RV3 in direction Folldal. Follow Folldalsvegen (road) for about 2,4 km til you reach Plassen and take a left turn over the bridge.

Via E6 over Dovrefjell: Take off the E6 at Hjerkinn, follow Folldalsvegen (road) for 67 km direction Alvdal to Plassen and take a left turn over the bridge. Camping site at you right hand side
