Tylldalen represents an area with varied opportunities for good fishing, both in the River Tysla and in many lakes in seterdaler and the surrounding high mountains. With such a variety in fishing over a relatively area, this license offers a great deal of fishing opportunities.
Tylldalen is located between 400 to 1600 meters above sea level,. Here you will find just about every nature setting Norway has to offer, from 400 til over 1600 m.o.h. Here you will find everything from coniferous forests to blended forest to high mountain birch forests. As well as wide open high mountain valleys. In the lower portion of the main valley you will find steep side hills that flaten out inwards towards the mountains. Otherwise you will find many valleys with blended forests. Tylldalen Landowners association runs regulates and dispenses the fishing licenses here, and after many years of serious cultivation have some excellent fishing to offer in everything from lakes and rivers to small streams.
Tylldalen is located in the southern part of Tynset Kommune, bordering Rendalen Kommune in the south and Alvdal Kommune in the west. Riksvei 30 between Tynset and Rendalen runs through the area giving ample access. From Tynset City Center it will take 20 minutes by car to get here, and the fishing area itself has a good network of forest roads and trails that lead to much of the fishing here. Licenses can be purchased either online or via local outlets including sports shops, camping areas, and the Tourist Information office.
- Fishing allowed year round, but remember that trout are protected during spawning time from the 15th of September to the 31st of October.
- Allowed methods are fly fishing, worm, and lure fishing
- The fishing license is for personal use only and is only valid with legal identification.
- Children under 16 years old fish for free.
- Failure to follow rules may lead to arrest and or confiscation of gear.
- The Glomma -Tunna fluesone Has it’s own special regulations.
