During the summer months the M/S Fæmund II will take you across the “inland ocean” of Femunden, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Here you can sit back and experience Femundmarka from the boat, or combine a trip through Femundsmarka National Park with the ferry as your starting point. The rugged nature of Femunden has continually attracted nature lovers from far and wide throughout the years.

Norway’s second largest natural lake offers many exciting opportunities for adventurers both young and old. The Femund II Ferry departs from Kai in Synnervika each morning at 9:00 am. You will find parking at the ferry, but you may also take the buss from Røros Station at 8:15 am.

Tickets can be purchased onboard, and you will also find a kiosk serving waffles, coffee, etc. The boat takes several stops along its route, so it is possible to take short hikes through Femundsmarka during your trip.
