– The conditions where amazing this weekend. Great weather with shifting clouds and low winds, and with the fish biting. The hatching was sporadic, but the fish where active anyway. We rented a cabin at the Kvebergsøya lodge, a quaint and tranquil place and a good base-camp for out trips to Grimsa river.

Low water conditions should make the fish easier to find – in theory.

– All together me and my friend caught about 20 grayling among ourselves, all between one and slightly over two pounds, with the three biggest ones over two pounds. Personally I could note my biggest trout in Grimsa with two pounds. All the fish where taking either super-pupa or different variations of paradun. The trout had the super-pupa submerged. A good trip – Vidar Narmo
